Ashtangagram On Pause

Dear friends,

Occasionally on this feed, and on the other scripted feed that I run, yoga challenges, we have off-topic posts or, occasionally, NSFW posts.  This is not my goal for these Tumblrs.

These feeds are run by a web script that just looks for keywords on Instagram and reposts some of them.  I don’t have a way to queue or draft those posts here to Tumblr, so I occasionally have to clean up.

Because of this event and some others, I am going to pause this Tumblr feed (or at least the automatic posting part of it) until I can find a better solution that will be:

1) Less posting volume

2) Curated directly by me

3) Cream of the crop images

Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Day 25 @kinoyoga @liquidoactive @beachyogagirl @fitqueenirene I am excited and eager to learn ashtanga primary series but after all the full series I do I am so sore the next few days. I don’t know why I didn’t expect this as the practice is exhausting but still surprised. I told my friend @scottyboy88 that I am worried about becoming less flexible and he told me “two steps forward, one step back.” I am inclined to agree. Any thoughts ashtanga friends? How did your strength and flexibility grow in your practice?

Was tagged by my yogi friend @marleevalentine to Being that I tend to get stuck on forearm-stand/ handstand practice and ignore a lot of other inversions; have been trying to focus on asanas that I’m not too keen on and my hip flexors are only just now able to comfortably sit in Eka Pada Galavasana. Progress feels good. I now tag @blazed_beautyy @sarahsamas @yoganji @yoga_davina @cloudysnowwolf @marijuanittt @severedlink. Show me the stuff !
